Dear JHungary,

Happy New Year.  It hardly seems possible that we were in Budapest a little more than a week ago. It is another world. But we are back at work in the real world and missing Budapest and Prague. One thing I am not missing is the cold!

I just wanted to write to tell you how much we enjoyed our tour with you and what a pleasure it was to meet you. The other day, we walked to the Parliament along the water, as you had suggested. The good thing about that walk was that we got to see the “shoes” . . . totally unexpected and very moving. This is the kind of experience that makes travel worthwhile.

Thanks for your good company and excellent knowledge. I hope we meet again one day.

Anyway, I wanted to thank you for  all you did for our group, and subsequently for Dana and me during our trips to Budapest.  We will have memories that last a lifetime (unless we manage to make it back there again, or course). 

We also had  tremendous stays in Vienna and Prague, but Budapest was extra special.  We wish you the best now and always,
